I’ve always believed style tells the story before you ever open your mouth. This look is proof of that.
In 2023, this coat showed up one way. Casual. Easy. Very much in my everyday lane. Denim, sneakers, layered up and moving through life. It fit where I was then. Nothing forced. Nothing overthought.
Fast forward to 2025 and the same coat feels different. Not because the piece changed, but because I did.
This time around, I styled it with intention. A cleaner base. A more structured silhouette. Tall boots instead of sneakers. Soft neutrals letting the color speak without yelling. Same coat. New presence.
That’s the part people miss about personal style. Growth doesn’t always look like new clothes. Sometimes it looks like revisiting old favorites with a sharper eye and more confidence in who you are.
I didn’t outgrow this piece. I grew into it.
And that’s the update.
